PM was spent around Liverton , Newton- Abbot and then Teignmouth, over Shaldon Bridge into Stokenteignhead and finishing near Starcross, weather was very kind and scenery first class. I saw England play Hungary at Wembley in May 1978. I was convinced Joe Corrigan played in goal, would have testified that he was there and that I saw him - except he didn't, it was Peter Shilton. High Ham school used to play six a side football against other local primary schools, I never ever got on the team (though Joe Corrigan did play the previous match I attended, against Brazil, which, being the first time I was at Wembley, you would think was more memorable!) He said it was a brilliant curved shot. That's all I remeber of the conversation as it took place about 23 years ago. I Wonder if he still remembers.
