The "I'd rather be red than dead" syndrome. I think in the interest of self preservation, I'm ashamed to say it but I would remain silent rather than risk persecution. In Nazi Germany, good people stood by while bad people reigned supreme. It happens the world over. Is it really better to die on your feet than live on your knees.
